Knowledge Matters: why ambitious, quality
curriculum benefits all students

Knowledge is what we think with*. The most powerful fuel for the comprehension, critical thinking and creativity of our young people is the knowledge about the world that they learn at school.

This Australian School Improvement Summit will answer just how important this knowledge revival is to equity and offer practical strategies for schools to radically improve the quality and focus of the curriculum and daily lessons we deliver to our students.

Together we can raise the ambition for what our students can learn and take into their lives in every postcode.

Keynote speakers

American education advocate and author of The Knowledge Gap, Beyond the Science of Reading and co-author of The Writing Revolution, Natalie Wexler, will be a keynote speaker at the event. She will head a line-up that includes:
